(b. 2 July 1981, Yerevan).
Armenian composer of mostly chamber and electroacoustic works that have been performed in Europe.
Mr. Abrahamyan studied composition with Vardan Ajemyan and piano with Elsa Tandilyan at the Sayat-Nova School of Music in Yerevan from 1990–98 and composition with Vardan Ajemyan at the Komitas State Conservatory in Yerevan from 1998–2002. He later studied composition and electroacoustic music at the Conservatoire de musique de Genève from 2002–05, on a scholarship.
Among his honours is First Prize in the competition Izabel in Yerevan (1998, for Sonata). His music has been performed in Armenia, Kosovo and Switzerland.
