T he Living Composers Project  

Donkin, Christine (b. December 6, 1976, Grande Prairie, Alberta). Canadian composer of orchestral, chamber, choral, and piano works that have been performed in Canada and elsewhere.

Ms. Donkin studied composition with Howard Bashaw, Malcolm Forsyth and Allan Gilliland at the University of Alberta in Edmonton and there received her BMus in 1999 and MMus in 2003.

Her music has been broadcast in Canada, Poland and the USA and performed in Canada and India.

Her Ten Short Piano Pieces is included in the Contemporary Showcase syllabus (2001-05) and is available through the Canadian Music Centre Distribution Service.
