Armenian composer of mostly chamber, choral and vocal works that have been performed in Europe.
Ms. Hakobjanyan studied piano at a music school in Vanadzor as a child and studied music theory at the Michael Tavrizian State College of Music in Vanadzor, where she graduated in 1998. She then studied composition with Ashot Zohrabyan at the Komitas State Conservatory in Yerevan from 1998–2003 and later had postgraduate studies in composition with him there.
