Nikodijevic, Marko (b. January 4, 1980, Subotica). Serbian composer of orchestral, chamber, vocal, and piano works that have been performed in Europe.
Mr. Nikodijevic studied composition with Zoran Eric and Srdjan Hofman at the Faculty of Music in Belgrade from 1997-2003. He also attended Darmstadt in 1998 and 2000, Ceský Krumlov in 2000-01, Szombathely from 2001-03, a masterclass with Marco Stroppa in Budapest in 2002, and the International Young Composers Meeting in Apeldoorn in 2003.
Among his honors are Third Prize in the competition of Jeunesses Musicales in Belgrade (2000), the SOKOJ Award in Belgrade (2000), the Slavenski Award in Belgrade (2002), and the Prize for Composition at the International Young Composers Meeting (2003).
